hi andrew
i'm running eprints in an ubuntu virtualbox (maschine B) and accessing
it from the the host (A) via konsole or webbroser.

for that:
- - configure eprints on B with a FQDN and
- - on A add this FQDN in /etc/hosts with the IP of B (i.e. 192.168.1.82
   boris.stof003-vb-ub124)

you get on A with browser http://boris.stof003-vb-ub124 or with
konsole ssh user at stof003-vb-ub124 to B.
