Hi,
Do you have an SMTP mail client running on your server, or at your institution?
There are a couple of places to check:
‘smtp_server’ might be configured in here: ~/perl_lib/EPrints/SystemSettings.pm
For an individual archive, this is referenced in here:
~/archives/ARCHIVEID/cfg/cfg.d/email.pl
- which can be configures for e.g. sendmail instead of smtp.
I’m not an expert in mail stuff – we have a central smtp server that handles our stuff.

Hi, I have problem with my repository registration. when users want to create an account, after filling out the form, they encounter with following error:
"The system is currently unable to send email. Please try again later. If this problem persists, please contact the administrator<mailto:halavati at gmail.com> with details."
how should I config my repository and remove this problem? please help me. I am amatour in this repository configuration.
