The Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) Community [1], is pleased to announce a new webinar entitled "E-LIS : A disciplinary repository to support Agricultural Information Management Specialists " [2]. The session will take place on the 14th of February 2014 – 16:00 Rome Time [3] and will be presented by Thembani Malapela of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Italy) [4}.

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

The objective of this webinar is to give an introduction to the E-LIS Repository [5] and its functions. E-LIS is the largest international document repository for full text scientific papers in Library and Information Science. E-LIS is organised, managed and maintained by an international voluntary team of information managers.

The webinar addresses agricultural researchers, librarians, information management specialists, software developers, agricultural journal editors, related data providers and other interested people.
