Might be worth looking at the 'data core' bazaar extension (http://bazaar.eprints.org/216/).
I don't think this has the ReCollect data model in it, but it does add a 'dataset' workflow alongside the existing ones - so you need 50% that, and 50% ReCollect methinks!

Hi Seb, That looks like the next option - I was vaguely hoping there might be a 'least' work solution to lift, or someone may have already done just that.

Guess I know what's going on my workplan for the next round of developments!

Can't you just extract what you need from the recollect bazaar plug-in?

I've found recollect to over-ride and duplicate fields which is not optimal.
