It looks like there's some phrases that are used in:
http://bazaar.eprints.org/336/1/epm/altmetric/cgi/altmetric
that aren't defined:
lib/altmetric:not_found

lib/altmetric:unknown_error

If you look at your page using Firefox and Firebug, you can see the response from:
http://your.repository/cgi/altmetric - which may well be something like:
{ "error": "1", "message": "["lib/altmetric:not_found" not defined]" }

If the phrases were defined, your box would have a 'No altmetrics found' type message in it.

This also shows an interesting trait of the plugin: the request to altmetrics is proxied - and therefor will be rate-limited by Altmetrics UNLESS you register for an API key. (which can then be added to ~/archives/ARCHIVEID/cfg/cfg.d/z_altmetrics.pl)

I think a bit more install instruction for this might be good!

Dear All,

I wondered if anyone had any problems in installing the 'Altmetric' Bazaar plugin.

I've attempted this on my test environment so far and I get no problems with the install at all, green boxes and confident confirmation that the plugin has installed.  But if I look for the files in the configuration I can't find all of them and the 'altmetric' buttons certainly aren't appearing in the system.  Have I missed a step?  Or do I need to install some of the files manually?

Of the files below I should see installed I can see the ones in bold, but not the others:

*         epm/altmetric/cfg/cfg.d/z_altmetric.pl

*         epm/altmetric/cgi/altmetric

*         plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Screen/EPrint/Box/Altmetric.pm

*         static/images/epm/altmetric.png

*         static/javascript/auto/99_altmetric.js

*         static/style/auto/altmetric.css

Any ideas?
