Hello,
after changing the reposity software to EPrints 3.3.7 we tried to
establish the handle_404 / catch404 mechanism for redirects. But even
with hardcoded urls (http://abc.xx) for redirection the apache (!) says:
>
>
> Not Found
>
> The requested URL /g1 was not found on this server.
>
> Additionally, a 302 Found error was encountered while trying to use an
> ErrorDocument to handle the request.
>
Without the activation of "cgi/handle_404/catch404" (defining a url for
redirecting), the browser shows the eprints 404-error page.
The access_log shows a redirect:
> ... "GET /g1 HTTP/1.1" 302 - "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64;
> rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0"
In the error_log the 404-state this entry can be found:
> ... File does not exist: .../html/de/g1
Does anyone use this feature ?
Best regards,
Bernd Diekmann
