Hello,
Watch out, there were some core bugs in 3.3.8 that will affect searching
(some details here: http://wiki.eprints.org/w/New_Features_in_EPrints_3.3.9)
The latest 3.3 is 3.3.12 -> http://files.eprints.org/867/
If you can, use the latest version available.
