Thanks Tommy

It's backwards compatible to Sword 1.3 though I think...at least I did manage to get EasyDeposit (http://easydeposit.swordapp.org/) working which is the older standard but would like to use v2.0.

As a non-programmer I find sword implementation tricky but have colleague who is a php programmer...we were pointed at this php library by Stuart Lewis on the sword-app-tech list - https://github.com/swordapp/swordappv2-php-library/ - which my colleague is now looking at. Have also passed on your link and we may well need EPrints specific help.

Thanks again

Nick

David Kane and I wrote a little PHP SWORD client for EPrints version 3.3.9 and later. You can check it out here:

https://github.com/davidfkane/eprintsDepositHelper/

It works for me and David, so with some PHP and EPrints background you should be able to make it work (famous last words). This is SWORD v2, by the way, which is the correct version for EPrints 3.3.x.

You may find the documentation a little, ahem, thin - but shoot us an email if you have questions.
