[EP-tech] Tracking item accesses

Is there a way in Eprints to track the number of times an item has been viewed or downloaded?

We are wanting to give regular usage reports to our submitters in order to encourage them to stay involved in our campus repository. I guess another way of doing this would be through an Google analytics or something similar.
