INVITATION TO LONDON HOPPER 2010.

Mutant bees, security, social networks and bioinformatics... and a
poster competition.

You are invited to the 6th London Hopper Colloquium on Tuesday, 4 May
2010 at the BCS headquarters in London. This 1-day event will feature
a diverse group of women speakers talking about their research, and
will enable new researchers to meet with each other and exchange
ideas, form collaborations and become aware of the network of women
conducting research in computing. Talks are aimed at Masters level up
and will show the exciting research carried out by women, at all
stages of their career, and from diverse backgrounds.

The keynote speakers are:

Sadie Creese, University of Warwick - Security in the Clouds

Samia Faruq, Queen Mary, University of London - Mutant Bees:
Perception of Colour in Different Natural Lighting Conditions

Clare Hooper, IBM and the University of Southampton - Understanding
and Re-Providing Social Connectivity in a Pervasive World

Alice Miller, University of Glasgow - Who Says Model Checking doesn't
find Real Problems?

In addition to talks and panel discussions, there is a poster session
where PhD and postdoctoral researchers will have an opportunity to
