Hello everybody!


First off, for all new people in ECS: Welcome! It's awesome to have you here!
For returning members: Welcome back! It's still awesome to have you here!

Allow me to tell you about next week's many, many events!


SPORTS SIGN-UPS!
That's right! This year, the sports we're looking to organise games for are: 5-a-side football, 11-a-side football, dodgeball, hockey, mixed basketball, mixed badminton and rugby! So, if you're interested in one or more of these, go to our website and sign-up. You can always invite non-ECSS members to sign up as well. The more the merrier! Just send them the link and all they'll need to do is sign in with their SUSSED login details!

GOLDMAN SACHS INTERVIEW SKILLS WORKSHOP
Wednesday, October 19, Goldman Sachs are holding an interview skills workshop! It will be held in the Physics building, on the 3rd floor (B46/3001) at 5PM. Come along to hone those tricky interview skills and learn more about Goldman Sachs. GET TO KNOW NEXT JUMP
Drop by on Wednesday, October 19, to meet Next Jump! Come along between 6:30 - 7pm (after the Goldman Sachs workshop); chat to the guys from Next Jump in Mountbatten, 4th floor Seminar Room (B53/4025A&B). Pizza and refreshments FREE! ECSS GAMING TOURNAMENT
Our first gaming event of the year will be a traditional Counter Strike Source Tournament, with a bit of Team Fortress 2 on the side. The event will take place in Zepler labs (Level 3/B59), next Saturday (October 22) at 1PM. Refreshments will be provided! The winning team will also be awarded an exciting cash prize!

Please remember that you will have to have a Steam account to play (registration is free, just go to http://www.steampowered.com). Additionally, teams of maximum 5 people are required for this tournament. You cannot have a team with more than 5 players.

Every year, ECSS organise hoodie orders. This will be your chance to get a personalised ECS/ECSS hoodie, with a choice of slogan from a student-suggested selection. We're not doing sign-ups yet, but we'd love it if you suggested slogans that you think fit our school and our society!
