[ECSS] "Smoothing the Ride" - Wondering what to expect from 1st/2nd Year?

Hello,

This is a reminder that the ECSS 'Smoothing the path' event is this 
Wednesday in Zepler Seminar Room 1 at 1pm to 3pm:

Starting the first year at university can be a daunting and difficult 
time. Even returning to the second year is a very different experience 
to the first year and there are many difficulties along the way. With 
the benefit of hindsight this experience can be made a lot easier.

To help new students starting their first year and students returning to 
the second year, ECSS is planning an informal drop-in discussion session 
where students in the years above will be sharing their experience of 
ECS, useful information for the year and university life in general, 
along with answering any questions or queries students may have.

The informal session will take place at 1pm on Wednesday the 7th of 
October in Zepler Seminar Room 1 (Building 59) and will last for around 
2 hours.

If you are a 1st or 2nd year and think you'll benefit from such advice, 
come round to talk to us and join in! It's a great chance to find out 
useful information, have a friendly chat and meet new people.

If you're interested in volunteering to help, it's not too late - please
