Hi Seb

What does the L stand for in the filename "PxTy_Lzz_Author surname”?
Also, does this mean anything less than 30 seconds over the limit is still acceptable?

Thanks,
Schuh

Hi all,

Some more instructions about the short presentations.

Note the short 1-minute presentation should have a single slide.

Best,
Seb

Subject: AFM Short Paper Submissions - Please Read

Dear Short Paper author presenters,

As you prepare your one minute and five minute prerecorded presentations please be sure to use the short paper presentation template<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdais-ita.org%2Fsystem%2Ffiles%2FShort%2520Paper%2520Presentation%2520Template%2520AFM%25202020_Final.pptx&data=01%7C01%7C%7C2504e149e457426290f608d84aa7a9ac%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=LaVcfo6SHsxnMnWCOQBxKxaDCl3DvVXHmser%2FV4wyjU%3D&reserved=0> and please keep to time.

Any submissions more then 30 seconds over these limits will be asked to re-record their presentations as we've a limited time window share the many short paper presentations within.

Short paper presentations will be grouped together for presentation during the main meeting. Thus we'd like your presentations in power point format so we can easily combine items which to be presentation together in a group all into a single playable file to be replayed during the main AFM meeting. Instructions on recording audio with power point are available on CENSE at https://dais-ita.org/afm_2020_call_for_papers<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdais-ita.org%2Fafm_2020_call_for_papers&data=01%7C01%7C%7C2504e149e457426290f608d84aa7a9ac%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=63Jx0GJdOz1%2F%2By7NpzsbZ7A3Lx6IVfTaKM4YvdIH2yw%3D&reserved=0>. Please record your one minute oral highlight on a single power point slide (either a title slide or showing essential information) with embedded audio recording.

Please upload the files, named "PxTy_Lzz_Author surname" to the appropriate CENSE page and send a message to dais at us.ibm.com letting us know the files are there and providing the CENSE link. As we have so much content coming in during the next few days please send/submit only one version, if you need to correct minor issues please talk to them in the short paper panel Q&A slot during AFM.
If you have already notified us of your submissions() and met these above criteria we will simply rename the file on our end, no additional action is required.

Many Thanks,
Michelle, Sue and the organizing team.

Subject: [Alliance] AFM Content Submission Link & Deadline Reminder

Hello Everyone,

Thanks to everyone who has already shared their AFM submissions with us! Your timely submittal is much appreciated and really helps us ensure content is available ahead of the main meeting.

If you still need to share content please load files up to 50MB directly to the CENSE page for the AFM item. For files over the 50MB per file CENSE page limit please upload your files via box at https://ibm.ent.box.com/f/5f0668405c614741a548a7a663479093<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fibm.ent.box.com%2Ff%2F5f0668405c614741a548a7a663479093&data=01%7C01%7C%7C2504e149e457426290f608d84aa7a9ac%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=ubeddIno5BPSSolHihp7hLZL0223p5opdd%2FHF2%2FlpU4%3D&reserved=0> If you have any issues accessing the box folder please contact Michelle at nicklus at us.ibm.com.

To those preparing short paper presentations this week please record your one minute oral highlight on a single power point slide (either a title slide or showing essential information) with embedded audio recording. Be sure to check https://dais-ita.org/afm_2020_call_for_papers<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdais-ita.org%2Fafm_2020_call_for_papers&data=01%7C01%7C%7C2504e149e457426290f608d84aa7a9ac%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=63Jx0GJdOz1%2F%2By7NpzsbZ7A3Lx6IVfTaKM4YvdIH2yw%3D&reserved=0> for full details and instructions on recording audio with power point.

With around 230 files for demo abstracts, demo videos, long paper and short paper manuscripts plus presentation files and also the plenary content, you can imagine there is significant effort in reviewing and getting everything organized and available to digest ahead of the meeting as committed to the leadership team and peer review panel. Please provide your materials on time with a single submission (revisions are time consuming and can cause confusion for all involved) whenever possible.

We've had some requests for extension to the submittal deadlines. Please ensure all demos and long papers presentation are finalized and submitted not later than this Friday (one week past the deadline). Please submit all short paper presentation recordings ideally by this Friday August 28th, but not later than next Wednesday September 2nd. Submission after these "drop dead" dates are discouraged and will require justification to and approval from TALs. It is my understanding that demo videos are what the TALs most want to preview ahead of the AFM, given the challenge in delivering them virtually (prerecorded).

Many Thanks,

Michelle, Sue and the organizing team.
