Dear DAIS Colleagues,

Registration is now open for the DAIS ITA ‘Virtual’ Annual Fall Meeting 2020 – running from the 14th September to the 18th September.  This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event is being run virtually.  The event will run, for 4 hours each day, in order to allow for the timezone differences
UK (BST): 2pm – 6pm / US East Coast (ET): 9am – 1pm / US West Coast (PDT): 6am – 10am
All presenters should anticipate an additional Q&A session with Peer Reviewers in the hour preceding or following the main meeting for both scheduled and ad hoc discussions.

Once you have registered, you will receive an email which will contain all the links you will need to access this event.

Opening Plenary Session
This will take place on Monday 14th September, with timings as follows:
UK (BST): 2pm – 3pm / US East coast (ET): 9am – 10am / US West coast (PDT): 6am – 7am

Closing Plenary & Wrap up Session
This will take place on Friday 18th September, with timings as follows:
UK (BST): 5.30pm – 6pm / US East Coast (ET): 12.30pm – 1pm / US West Coast (PDT): 9.30am – 10am

Details of all the events and sessions will be emailed to you upon registration, and will be accessible throughout the event, via the CENSE website.  A copy of the initial agenda is attached below (.pdf), but we expect this to evolve between now and the event, so please look at the event web page for the latest version.

Main Meeting Sessions
These will be run as Webex meetings – details of each meeting will be contained within the agenda.

Virtual Rooms
Alongside the Webex sessions, and throughout the entire week, we will be running various ‘chat rooms’ for each of the project groups, via Slack.  This will allow for real time interaction – and also a space where people can grab a coffee and socialise – albeit virtually.
Again, details of joining these virtual rooms will be contained in your registration confirmation.
