Dear MSc students,

The Project Lab on Level 1 of Building 16 will re-open next week, Monday 10 August.

This is for MSc students with hardware projects, who are currently working with microcontrollers, breadboards, etcetera at home.

The Project Lab provides bench space and equipment (oscilloscopes, soldering etc) as well as electronics consumables.

To apply for access, please read all the attachments carefully.

You will need signatures from your project supervisor for:
- SOP B16.1003 - General Bench Use and Access: page 2

After careful reading of these documents, you need to sign:
- SOP B16.1003: page 2 (and provide your details on page 1)
- General ECS Teaching Labs Risk Assessment: page 20
- B16 Covid_19_Induction: slide 27

See "B16 Booking Instructions” for more information, and note the email address  b16LabBookings at soton.ac.uk<mailto:b16LabBookings at soton.ac.uk>  for submitting these signed documents, for all your questions, and for bookings.

If your supervisor is currently unavailable because of annual leave, you can ask your programme leader (or myself) to sign instead of your supervisor.
