Hello all,
I hope you have had a productive and successful Summer with your projects. This is a reminder that, unless you are a referring student or have been told otherwise, the final deadline for submission is before 16:00 on Thursday 5th September. Submission is made to the ECS handin system at https://handin.ecs.soton.ac.uk/handin/1819/COMP6200/3/
If you are taking referral exams you will have received a separate deadline for your project. You should submit using the same link as above, disregarding the date shown on the handin page.
You should now have organised or be in the process of arranging a meeting with your second examiner for your demonstration. We are aware some second examiners are away and a physical demonstration may not be possible. In these cases, with agreement of the examiner a demonstration via Skype or online method is also acceptable. The demonstration can take place after the report deadline date where no other date can be found with agreement between the student and supervisor.
Your submission must include a PDF of your report (which must be LESS than 40mb in size) - any other file formats will not be accepted! You may also include an additional zip file of any other files or resources you wish to submit.
Detailed instructions on how to complete your submission can be found here: https://secure.ecs.soton.ac.uk/notes/comp6200/submit_2019.php. Please make sure you have read through this page and are familiar with the process before the deadline date.
You must include the statement of originality found here in your dissertation: https://secure.ecs.soton.ac.uk/notes/ai/ai_statement.docx.You can also find important information about academy integrity and your dissertation here: https://secure.ecs.soton.ac.uk/notes/ai/
Due to the size of the projects and the amount of people submitting, you must ensure you submit well in advance of the deadline in case of any issues - do not leave it to the final hour. Submission failures or delays that are a result of submitting too close to the deadline will not be an acceptable reason for special considerations and will be subject to a late penalty - so don't risk it! This is the case even if the submission is only a minute late.
Good luck and best wishes with your handin and the completion of your project,
