<p class="MsoNormal">I had a discussion with senior ECS management and there was a suggestion to refresh the CMI board. I think this comes at the right time after 2 years of CMI. CMI is starting to attract broader participation than ECS and now we have much
more external visibility. Giving an opportunity to new hires and others to help out is, I think, a good way to generate new ideas and sustain our activities in the long run. This also gives us an opportunity to review our own individual contributions to the
CMI.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If you don’t have any objections to this, I’ll issue a call for members of the CMI board and close off applications by the end of January, for us to review beginning of February. I’ll establish some baseline criteria for us to judge the
applicants with the hope of turning this around within a week, so the new board can start planning activities in February. If you have any thoughts or questions, please let me know and I’ll come and have a chat.<o:p></o:p></p>
