Some quick updates:
- Dr. Steve Meers (Head of DSTL AI lab) will start as a Visiting Professor in ECS in October and do some lectures and sit on our steering committee. He has also accepted to give a keynote at the showcase.
- Prof. Mark Girolami (Data Centric Engineering, Lloyds Register/Cambridge) has accepted to be our headline speaker for the CMI Showcase.

With these in place, I’d like us to work on marketing the event and the agenda.
