Thanks to all who helped out with the PhD evening event today.  

The turnout was exactly as I hoped for (30 attendees) but we also have 60 people who initially signed up for the event and indicated their preferences for a PhD topic. 

We will now use all this data to invite them to apply for PhDs and drum up further interest in our core research areas.

We’ve been asked to put the slides online - please let me know if that’s OK.

Also, it would be useful to share any important feedback we should pass on to EREC with respect to the issues that students worry about when applying for PhDs.
