<p class="MsoNormal">I haven’t scheduled any specific meetings with people after the seminar, in case it turns out to not be a particularly useful connection. However, I’ve said that if there’s any desire for longer discussions after his talk (i.e. more than
can fit in the Q&A at the end of the talk), he could have these in 14:00-15:00 (I’m meeting with him 13:00-14:00).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">At 12:00 on 11 June, Dr Richard Bearman will be giving a seminar on the challenges and opportunities for IoT in the minerals/mining sector in 59/1257 (Zepler building). Dr Bearman is a mining professional with 32 years’ in the industry.
He is interested in identifying opportunities for IoT in mining across the Centre’s interests, spanning nano sensors all the way to cybersecurity and data analytics.<o:p></o:p></p>
