[C-IoT Management] C-IoT PhD Mini-Event

Dear C-IoT Management Group,

I’ve booked the MB Seminar Room next Wednesday afternoon (20th) from 3-5pm (though will probably not last that long) to run an event on ECS PhDs in IoT. I’m not expecting a great turnout, but I think it’s worth a stab.

The rough agenda: I’ll give a short overview to IoT/C-IoT and the different areas of interest across ECS. We’ll then have some current PhD students doing 1-minute talks about their IoT research. We’ll then have a Q&A panel where attendees get to ask questions. Following that, we’ll have informal one-on-one discussions.

ACTION: please can you each give me the name/email of one of your PhD students that’s working in the area of IoT that you think would be good to help with this? Please can you let me have this by the close of play on Wednesday (13th).

Sorry I’ve been slow on circulating the minutes from the last management meeting – I hope to do this later this week.
