Just to be awkward, there may be cases where you want to skip the
building part, and have rooms directly within sites. College sites
generally contain lots of bits of building with vague boundaries, and
whose rooms are referenced either by staircase or quad (and where
knowing the building isn't overly helpful.

For example, within the building between Pusey and Hayward in
<http://www.chem.ox.ac.uk/oxfordtour/keble/> there are the JCR, MCR,
Pusey Room, and the alumni office. The JCR is accessed from Hayward
Quad, and all the others from Pusey.

Mind you, I've given up trying to model this for now. :-S

The vertical-instead-of-horizontal worldview brought on by staircases
might well be expressable in terms of building sections (or 'spaces'
in the current Oxford model).
