Hmm. SWRC does look like it may well be exactly what I was looking for, 
although I'm not very keen on their reinventing the wheels of Event, 
Person, Organisation etc. but there's a bunch of useful looking 
predicates to plunder :) Thanks for the lead.

It might also make sense to add a lead to the lab:programChair relations 
to programme.ecs.soton.ac.uk

I have to say I like the choices in this. Would you be interested in 
adding some of it to openorg.ecs.soton.ac.uk? as some suggested patterns 
for people to follow if they want to represent such things?
