<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>OASPA is delighted to have UNESCO hosting the 6th
Conference on Open Access Scholarly Publishing at their Paris Headquarters (<A
href="http://www.unesco.org/new/en/unesco/about-us/">http://www.unesco.org/new/en/unesco/about-us/</A>)
from 17-19 September 2014. Program planning for the event is well
underway. <BR><BR>As in previous years, the conference is directed towards
the interests of professional publishing organisations, independent publishers
and university presses, as well as librarians, university administrators and
other stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from many
leading figures within the open access publishing environment.<BR><BR>The
Program Committee have decided to open up one of the sessions within the
conference program as a Show & Tell opportunity for exciting new projects
relating to open access publishing. Six slots are available and organisations
are invited to submit a proposal to us for a 10 minute presentation showcasing
their project.<BR><BR>All proposals should be submitted by 31 May 2014 at the
latest to <A href="mailto:info@oaspa.org">info@oaspa.org</A>. The committee will
review the suggestions and notify authors of the successful proposals by the end
of June.</FONT></DIV>
