Big Data are datasets whose size prevents typical database software tools from capturing, storing, managing, aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data. Big data can be both structured and unstructured and is ever increasing in volume, velocity, and heterogeneity. This survey is meant to capture the pulse of the Grey Literature community on the topic. The results of the Survey will be presented in a poster session at the GL14 conference in Rome, Italy on Nov. 29-30, 2012.
