You will be part of a small team (working across the University Research<br>
Office, Library and the Centre for Educational Research and Development)<br>
that is responsible for the management and development of the Institutional<br>
Repository (IR). The IR is an online resource for the permanent deposit of<br>
research and conference papers, e-theses, student projects and teaching and<br>
learning materials produced by our community of staff and students.<br>
<br>
You will be expected to provide assistance to academics in organising and<br>
depositing their material in the Repository, including providing advice on<br>
clearance.<br>
<br>
You should have good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.<br>
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate careful attention to detail<br>
in their work, as well as workload planning and prioritisation. IT skills<br>
are essential.<br>
<br>
Experience of monitoring depositing, downloading and the use of other<br>
indicators to identify the impact and success of the IR and areas for<br>
improvement in the service would be useful. You should have a good general<br>
education. Knowledge and understanding of recent digital library<br>
developments, digital repositories and open access issues would beneficial.<br>
