The Repositories Support Project (RSP) and the Research Information<br>
Network (RIN) are holding this free event to look at how researchers
are<br>
responding to mandates to include the results of their research work
in<br>
repositories. It will cover the issues around both research funders'
and<br>
institutional mandates at institutional, subject-based and national<br>
levels and ask how these mandates are working in practice.<br><br>
Key speakers include:<br><br>

* Paul Davey, Engagement Manager, UKPubMed Central<br>
* Bill Hubbard, Manager, SHERPA, University of Nottingham<br>
* Paul Hubbard, Head of Research Policy, HEFCE<br>
* Charles Oppenheim, Head of Department and Professor of Information<br>
Science at Loughborough University<br><br>
The meeting will be an opportunity to investigate the way that
mandates<br>
are working, what policies and processes can improve this, how
mandates<br>
can become embedded within the research cycle, and reflect on their<br>
current and future impact.<br><br>
The event is aimed at institutional managers, senior librarians,<br>
research funders, repository managers, publishers, learned societies
and<br>
academic researchers.<br>
