[BOAI] HELP - Librarians in LATAM

Dear all,

I write to ask your help for a friend. Cristiana is working on collecting
information and data on librarians in LATAM and library practices in LATAM.
She wants to understand how the WIPO Library Treaty that is being
negotiated could have an impact and what type of impact.

But she is the beginning of such project. So now, she needs any data and
stories on how libraries (research and public) work in LATAM.

Things like:
- statistic on users and use
- business models, specifically on e-books
- copyright impacts on libraries and its business and services
- data on international lending between libraries
- whatever else you might have

Please, this would be incredibly helpful. I will ask her to share her
presentation back with all of you.
