We invite you to attend the International scientific conference “Scientific Communication in the Digital Age" to be held in January 30 - February,1 , 2013 at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine, Kyiv).


Organised by:  National University of Kyiv  Mohyla Academy Library
                        National academy of culture and arts managerial personnel
                        Ukrainian Library Association
                        NGO  «ELibUkr: Electronic Library of Ukraine»

At the plenary session, sections, seminars and panels we plan to discuss following areas:

 *   E-resources at the libraries
 *   Open Access issues: OA journals and OA repositories
 *   Intellectual property for electronic recourses creating and usage
 *   National and international access to scientific information projects
 *   Scientometric and bibliometric research assessment tools
 *   Scientific journals: new models and technologies of creation and dissemination
 *   NIT  at the university libraries
Parallel  events:

     January, 30, 2013:

·         17 th scientific and practical workshop “Electronic recourses for science and education”

·         Annual ELibUkr Project participants meetings
January, 31, 2013:

·         Round table concerning the issue Open Journal Systems  of platform application in journals publishing  for editorial boards representatives of scholar journals in Ukraine
February, 1, 2013:

·         Webinar  “Open Access to scholar information”

Participant categories:
The Conference is designed for scholars, publishers, librarians and universities administrators s from Ukraine and other countries.

There is no arrangement fee. The Organizing Committee does not assume the cost of travel, accommodation and meals at the conference. Organization committee can help with the participant’s accommodation by the individual requests.
Schedule of the conference:
The opening - January, 30, 2013 at 09:00 a.m. The closing – February, 1, 2013 at 02:00 p. m.

Conference proceedings (PDFs, PPTs etc.) will be deposited in Open e- archive ELibUKR
Registration deadline:  December, 30,2012. The introduction of speeches into the Conference plan will depend on the Program committee decision. We invite you to take part in the International annual scientific and practical conference
