EPrints will be unveiling its latest innovation at the Repository Fringe
conference next week in Edinburgh (2nd September 2010). The EPrints Bazaar
is an app-store that allows repository users to install new repository
components with a single click in the repository user interface. The Bazaar
will be a one stop shop for user interface enhancements, content management
tools and web/cloud integration services of all kinds, providing an easy way
for EPrints developers to package and distribute their software to the
repository community.

At the Repository Fringe we will be demonstrating the use of the EPrints
Bazaar and announcing forthcoming developer previews and training courses
for the new academic year.

App stores have revolutionised mobile computing, closing the gap between
developers and users. Our aim is to do the same for the repository
community, improving repository innovation by removing the barriers to
sharing useful developments and disseminating project outputs.
