[Forwarding from Falk Reckling of the Austrian Science Fund. --Peter Suber.]

Dear Colleagues

the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) has launched two new open access programs
lines:

1) The funding of open access publication costs for peer-reviewed articles
that results from projects supported by the FWF is extended to
peer-reviewed monographs, collected volumes and proceedings, see:

2) The FWF pays printing costs for Stand-alone-Publications (monographs,
collected volumes and proceedings) peer-reviewed by the FWF since
decades. This program is now accompanied by an additional open access
subsidy if an electronic copy of the print version is made freely available
by the publisher, see:

We see it as a test and will evaluate both programs lines after three years.

Yours sincerely,

Falk Reckling
