 Dear Sam

Perhaps the following is useful:

AI for Arts @ The Alan Turning Institute
Prof. Sunil Manghani and Associate Professor Seth Giddings at Winchester School of Art have joined the working group at Alan Turning Institute to establish a special interest group 'AI for Arts’. Similar to other interest groups of the Institue, such as for ‘Humanities and Data Science’, the aims of the group are to establish a diverse and sustainable network of HEI specialists (and professionals more widely across the arts and cultural sector) and to provide an ongoing programme of specialist and capacity-building events. Key considerations relate to the impact and opportunities for the arts and culture sector arising from new imaging technologies, and the significance of data, data handling, and AI implementations. In addition to the value of working externally with the Alan Turing Institute in these areas, Manghani and Giddings are also aware of wide interests across all faculties and are working to foster and support a similar network within the University itself. For more about the Institute ‘AI for Arts’ group, see: https://www.turing.ac.uk/research/interest-groups/ai-arts<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turing.ac.uk%2Fresearch%2Finterest-groups%2Fai-arts&data=01%7C01%7C%7Cc79cd7b15acd40cf65fc08d799cc5913%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=59QSJeeV%2Fr6AqBCDmywJAeNRfo7l72JpHBzEylN3EKQ%3D&reserved=0>
