[Aab] Visit by Office for AI | Tuesday 28 May 2019

Dear Academic Advisory Board

Public Policy|Southampton has recently secured a number of PhD placements with the Office for AI, as part of the EPSRC grant allocated to Southampton to support EPSRC-funded students. The Office for AI colleagues, Farzana Dudhwala and Freya Pascall, are coming down to Southampton on the Tuesday 28 May to meet with PhD students interested in placements.

They also want to meet with UoS staff working on/interested in AI to talk about the Office for AI's priorities, current and upcoming projects and research needs.

This meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to hear directly from the OAI colleagues and ask any AI related questions you may have.

You are invited to attend a round-table meeting, which will take place from 1100-1200 in Building 85, Room 2003 (next to the main Reception).

Please let me know if you would like to attend, so that I have an idea of numbers.
