ECS *-all lists
Please note: this system does not cover the *-all ECS internal automatically generated lists (i.e. ug-all, iam-all, etc.).
The *-all lists have been deprecated and replaced with the @all.soton service, which is more powerful and covers the entire University.
Help
- To set a list so it is moderated (so all postings have to be approved), administer the list and look at the start of "Privacy options...", "Sender filters". You will also need to set the moderators' email addresses in "General Options".
- If your list address ends in anything except "@ecs.soton.ac.uk", you will need to add the full email address of the list to the "acceptable aliases" entry in Admin / Privacy options / Recipient filters. Otherwise all list postings will be held for moderation.
- To find out all the lists you are subscribed to, follow the "Unsubscribe" links all the way through so you have entered your email address and password (you may request a reminder). Then on the next page, there is a "Your other subscriptions" section, which contains a button which will list all your mailing list subscriptions.
